Aidan, from Co. Leitrim, started dancing at 6 years of age with the Faragher school of Irish Dancing, run by Clare Faragher Mc Morrow, and has had lots of success during his dancing years winning many competitions from an early age individually and as part of a team.

After training as a primary school teacher in St. Patrick’s College, Drumcondra, Aidan secured a teaching post in Drogheda, Co. Louth but he wasn’t ready to give up his dancing just yet. He joined the prestigious Scoil Rince Mona Ní Rodaigh in Dundalk where he returned to competition after a break of 10 years and ranked 2nd in Leinster, in the top 10 in Ireland, and in the top 15 in the world. Aidan became a world champion in 2012 as part of the Senior Mixed Céilí team from Scoil Rince Mona Ní Rodaigh who won the World Championships in Belfast.

Following on from his success in competition, Aidan was invited to join the cast of ‘Rhythm of the Dance’. He took a break from primary school teaching for two years and toured the world with the internationally renowned dance show visiting Japan, Russia, Europe, USA and Canada.

Aidan recently sat his Irish Dancing Teacher exams in Limerick and passed with flying colours. He is very excited to be one of the founding members of the Lennon Mc Loughlin school of Irish Dance and is looking forward to passing on his dancing skills for many years to come.

Orla Lennon danced from a young age with the Tracy O' Neill School of Irish dancing in Co Leitrim. During her years with the O' Neill School Orla enjoyed great success in both solo and ceili dancing.
In her late teens Orla developed a love for competitive Irish dance. After qualifying for the world championships for the first time at the relatively late age of 18 Orla went on to place top ten in every major championships including the prestigious World Irish Dancing Championships. Over the next few years Orla won several world medals as well as regional titles including both the Connacht and the Leinster Championships.
Originally from Co. Longford, Orla now lives in Co. Meath and is a primary school teacher. After completing a postgraduate of education in Wales and returning to Ireland to teach, Orla was not yet ready to hang up her shoes. Similarly to Aidan she made a return to competitive dancing after a gap of several years to win the Leinster Senior Ladies Title and a further World Medal.
Orla is delighted to have qualified as an Irish dancing teacher with An Coimisiún le Rincí Gaelacha after sitting her TCRG exams in Manchester in August 2014. She looks forward to working with the Lennon Mc Loughlin school of Irish dancing and passing on her love of Irish dance for years to come.
