GFD Film Library (GFD Film Library) is a division of GFD Communications Limited. We are licensed through our partner company GFD Film Library UK to issue public and commercial non-theatrical licenses to the Republic of Ireland.

Under Republic of Ireland Copyright Law, if you wish to screen of a film to audiences outside of the cinema or their home circle (known as non-theatrical film screenings), you must acquire the consent of the copyright owner or their representatives before doing so. Film copyright ownership is generally held by the film studio or distributor (that has produced the film).

GFD Film Library represent many of the leading Hollywood, Bollywood and Independent film studios non-theatrically, providing licensing and content to organisations throughout the Republic of Ireland across a wide range of markets including individuals and companies encompassing film festivals, schools, film societies and community film groups.
