FARMER aims to produce food that can be delivered ‘Fast’ but which is more in keeping with ‘Slow’ production philosophies. We believe it is possible to produce low-cost but high-value food that is wholesome and organic and that can compete with the mass-produced food products now offered on the menus of fast food outlets in Ireland.

We believe that we can work with small farmers and producers all over Ireland to source ingredients which will produce wholesome fast food.

Our initial goal is to establish a production, distribution and retail site in Dublin. This ‘Hub’ will make food ingredients and products available that are produced in keeping with a strict philosophy of care and consideration towards the welfare of the land, the animal and the producer. Other outlets will follow around the country.
We passionately believe that this idea needs to reach everyone. All around the world fast food is associated with unhealthy diets and heavily processed ingredients. We too rarely think of fast food ingredients and their provenance, the sustainability of their production or the welfare of the animals involved.

We want to change all this. We want to create a food that is modelled on fast food but produced in keeping with a strict philosophy of care and consideration towards the welfare of the land and the animal. The welfare of the animal and the land is paramount the food industry.
