Laminates have also become harder to tell from there more expensive counterparts, With textured wood grain surface, varied planks, beveled edges, narrow planks and different plan lengths. Before we fit any floor we do a complete site survey including taking a moisture content reading of the concrete subfloor. We remove skirting and completely cut under door frames, wardrobes and stair posts to allow movement in the floor. This is where most corners are cut in floor installation and where most problems arise from.
