Our classes and private coaching are dedicated in each person achieveing their fitness goals from those merely interested in general fitness to elite athletes.
Each workout is comprised of constantly varied functional movements (like pushing, pulling, squatting, lifting, running) executed at high intensity.
The workouts themselves are completely scalable, which means that a new participant and a regular trainer can complete the same workout with changes in load and intensity.
Our fitness programming aims to improve your capacity in ten recognized fitness domains: cardio-respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance and accuracy.
Finally our classes are FUN! Our coaches and participants are welcoming, supportive, and committed to creating an environment where everyone can succeed.

CrossFit Athlones Fundamentals Course is mandatory for the individual who wants to train in our CrossFit group classes.CrossFit Athlones Fundamentals Course meets for 3 classes over threeweek. During the one-hour class you will, along with other beginners, be working with a certified coach who will safely expose you to our movement curriculum in a small group setting. These 9 movements are CrossFits foundational movements and are as follows; Air Squat, Front Squat, Overhead Squat, Press, Push Press, Push Jerk, Deadlift, Sumo Deadlift, Med Bell Clean. These techniques will be drilled as well as a progressive introduction to the intensity levels that are inherent in our group classes. Then each class will end with a workout involving the movements you were taught that class and previous classes.
Following the completion of the 3 week Fundamentals Course a certified coach will assess your fitness level and ensure that you are ready to safely transition into our CrossFit group classes. All classes must be completed before you may attend our regularly scheduled CrossFit group classes. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to class. You must attend each class once at the allotted times. Please plan accordingly. Spaces are limited to 10 per class and also class times so make sure to book to avoid missing this great opportunity. Price for 3 week Fundamentals Course is €70 and must be payed in advance before starting course. Hope to see you all there for the Sport of Fitness.
Fundamentals Course takes place on Monday/Tuesday 7 - 8pm, Wednesday/Thursday 7 - 8pm (Friday6:30 - 7:30pm for those who missed class during the week) Saturday 11 - 12pm WOD (Workout of the Day)

There is a bonus open gym every Sunday at 10 - 12pm where all members can come to train or work on a specific exercise that I have outlined at the start of the working week. There will also be a monthly award for 'most improved or 'most dedicated' members.
