About our glamping

1x 25 sq luxury canvas 2 persons)tent- Travel to India-and one wood covered tiny room for 2 person- Travel to Turkey- for nature lovers 15 minutes walk from the bank of Danube river and the downtown of Dunabogdany.
Open from 15 May till 30 September

Nature lovers, sport fans and family friendly accomodation up to 10 persons with several possibilities of indor and outdoor activity. The place has no noise and airpollution (as in the city centre) and only 40 minutes by bus for Szentendre HEV station or 1 hour from the downtown by direct bus( from Újpest Underground station) Frequent connection.

Fully equipped kitchen. Free cofee, tea, WIFI. Fresh bed linen and towels. Books and maps in several languagages.

The room and tents are non-smoking.

Closed bicycle parking facilities, direct route from Budapest. Free car parking in front of the house.

What to see and do

The tiny camp is situated 20 km from Budapest in the hug of Danuce River wich is called magnificent Danube Curve and the foot of the Visegradi Mountains. This countryside called danube Curve (Dunakanyar) is one the most visited region by Hungarians as coming from Budapest you can visit Szentedre ( serb ortodox city), Visegrád (medivial royal castle) and Esztergom (the largest catholic cathedral in Hungary called Esztergom Basilica) which all situated along the Danuce river. Dunabogdány is small town with German minority.

How we live

We are vegetarians and have bio garden so vegetarians and vegans welcome.
We do not used any materials coming from animals during the constraction and decoration (except carpets)
Animals friendly accomodation (lakes, bird and bat houses, hedgehogs shelters and bee houses can be found the the garden)
We equipped the camp with low energy consumpton led lamps, A+ refrigerators and low consumption shower heads.
We use only bio chemicals for dishwashing and shower (please use only the supplied by the accomodation)

Other services

Hungary is not only Budapest although the old city is beautifull the countryside is worth visiting around Budapest.
On reguest we help you to set up your plan to spend your leisure time in the most effective way. If I know your needs and interests we can suggest what to see and do during your stay in Hungary. As we are official mountaneering and city tour guide we can guide you in Budapest and around on request. We can organize trekking(to the see the magnificant wiew of Danuce curve) bike, canoe trips or other outdoor sports you are interested.

After booking I send you map and description how to get here by public transport or car or I help you to organize your travel. We meet our guests and hand over the key personally.

Out of season:
From 1 May-15 June and all September
Price per night canvas tent: 2 person EUR 45/night
Price per night wooden house: 4 person EUR 75/night

High season:
From 15 June—31 August
Price per night canvas tent: 2 person EUR 50/night
Price per night wooden house: 4 person EUR 80/night
In the high season min. 2 days or full weekend can be booked(Firday and Saturday)

Children under 6 is free between 6 and 12 half price.
