Our hostel features spacious, decent and comfortable rooms inside a beautiful, unique, more than one hundred- year-old building – once the property of the Zwack Unicum factory, a true Hungarian specialty.

We are a stone’s throw away from the wonderful Danube river with a lovely promenade running along the bank, which leads right to Boráros Square, a central connection point of public transport.

The hostel is your space to chill out and relax – we are not a party hostel and have a strict policy on excessive loud activities. Mind you- this does not mean monk-like isolation! The common kitchens on each floor and our sunny terrace give you the possibility for a friendly chit-chat with fellow travellers.

But if you're after a wild party, you are also in the best place, there are a plenty of bars and pubs nearby:

- A38-ship (a crazy floating bar, a professional underground concert venue, voted to be the greatest bar of the world (we are not exaggerating! see Lonely Planet, 2011: http://www.lonelyplanet.com/competitions/singha-100greatbars2011/bar-list/)
- Budapest Park (http://budapestpark.hu/ a newly built, modern concert place with 5 different music stages)
- Zöld Pardon ( http://kulfold.zp.hu/english.php the renewed open-air party place)
- R33 ( http://r33.hu/ ,the former slaughterhouse of the city with local bands and a surreal bar resembling the mixture of a baroque ball room and a cheap suburban working class’ pub)

-just to name some of them. (For details ask our always up-to date and well-informed, reputedly helpful recepcionists! :))

For those looking for cultural adventures: some of the most prestigious contemporary artistic center of the city - Trafó, Ludwig Museum, Palace of Arts- and other places of supposed interest, like the Holocaust Memorial Center or the Hungarian National Theatre are also right in our backyard!
