In Budapest, at the foot of the Royal Castle, in ideal surroundings, above a pub with beer prices of EUR 1 to 2 and lavish food.
Our apartment, at the ground floor of a quiet middle-class block in a historic environment, is perfectly accessible, on the one hand (a nice walk from Déli Railway Station, and by tram or bus from most points of the city; there is a night bus service as well nearby); on the other hand, it is only a few minutes' walk to reach the grocery store, the post office, the bank, the florist, the church ... should you intend to take a wife when tipsy.
It takes a 10-minute walk to the Royal Castle with Matthias Church /this took several days for the Turkish invaders/; you can make it to Clark Ádám Square with the Chain Bridge in 5 minutes; and the bustling Inner City is only two bus stops away - retro trains and the retro metro are two tram stops away.
Comfortable, clean, cheap accomodation (EUR 15 - 19) is available for 10-13 persons - in a cosy 2-bed room and a room for 4+2 and 4+1, respectively (2 separate showers, 2 toilets) and a cheerful spatious common room equipped with a kitchen, in a way that each room can be rented out separately. In the common room, the computer can be used free of charge (internet, skype); what's more, the whole apartment and the pub are a great free hot spot. And if you don't have no Windows, no women, you got the TV, fuckit.
At our pub below the pad, Falánk Faló, the best Hungarian beer - Dreher - costs EUR 1 a glass, and you can also get outside of the best beer in the world - Pilsner Urquel - from EUR 1,5 until you're out of breath. Special eats at EUR 2-6 .
