Az ország legrégebbi szállodája és étterme, a Pest-Buda eredetileg 1696-ban nyitotta meg kapuit. Az igazán kivételes történetével és az újonnan kialakított berendezéssel és modern, de otthonos designnal a Pest-Buda kétségkívül Budapest egyik legstílusosabb hotele lett 10 egyedileg berendezett luxus szobájával és lakosztályaival. A legfelső szinten két atelier lakosztály kapott helyet, padlótól a plafonig tartó üvegfallal, szabadon álló káddal, hatalmas walk-in zuhannyal és az erdeti barokk tetőszerkezettel. A családi tulajdonú boutique hotelünk a város csendes, történelmi negyedében található, a Budai Várban, műemlék épületekkel és békés utcákkal körbevéve, mindössze 10 percre a városközponttól.

Egyszerű magyar ételeket kínálunk a legjobb alapanyagokból, szívvel, lélekkel: a nagymama házias magyar konyhájából gondosan és szeretettel elkészítve. Kizárólag karakteres magyar borokat tartunk és előszeretettel kínáljuk azokat a különleges tételeket, melyeket a borászok a borok valódi imádóinak tartogatnak.

Litauszki Zsolttal a Pierrot, a 21, a Baltazár és az ÉS Bisztró kreatív séfjével hónapokon keresztül dolgoztunk azon, hogy megújítsunk számos magyar receptet, valamint, hogy kidolgozzuk a kézműves kenyérlángos sütésének módját. Nem csak ebédünk és vacsoránk, de reggelink is ezt az irányvonalat képviseli és számos olyan ételt talál a reggeli étlapon, melyet minden nap otthon is elkészítünk.

The oldest hotel in Hungary, originally opened in 1696, has been transformed into Pest-Buda. This stylish, design-forward boutique hotel and classic Hungarian bistro featuring grandma’s homestyle kitchen is located in the Buda Castle district, the historic heart of Budapest, very close to downtown. Atop the building, two atelier suites feature floor-to-ceiling glass walls, freestanding bathtubs, and oversized walk-in showers, all set against the backdrop of the original exposed brick baroque roof structure. A sleek, family-owned boutique hotel located in the city’s quiet, old Buda Castle area, it is surrounded by historic buildings and peaceful streets, while being only 10 minutes away from the city center.

Pest-Buda doubles with Grandma’s homestyle Hungarian kitchen, using the best ingredients with love and care. We only carry Hungarian wines rich with personality and like to highlight those special bottles that are the territory of true wine aficionados.

Together with Zsolt Litauszki, creative chef of Pierrot, 21 Hungarian Kitchen, Baltazar, and ÉS Bisztró (all recommended / awarded by the Michelin Guide and Gault Millau), we have worked for months to rediscover several Hungarian recipies and master the art of baking the perfect artisanal flamed pie. Chef Lajos Lutz is running a soulful kitchen devoted to Grandma’s Hungarian classics made with love and care.
