What if you could bottle the clean flavour of a freshly picked apple, the juicy taste of a ripe pear, or the subtle sweetness of a strawberry and magically deliver it on demand at a competitive price, across Asia?

This was the vision of Peter Gilks and Malcolm Pearce, passionate cider connoisseurs, which sparked the beginning of BRUNTYS premium cider in 2011. And their dream to be pioneers of cider making in Asia, which has been in research and planning for two years, is now a reality. Independent research during this two years showed that over 90% Asians preferred to drink a "beer made of fruit" and in taste tests over 95% preferred the taste of Bruntys cider.

The result is a refreshing and light alcoholic beverage made from freshly picked fruit sourced from the orchards of Europe and then slowly fermented and matured to perfection in the heart of Southeast Asia to create this new exciting beverage. To ensure BRUNTYS delivers the authentic flavour of traditional, high quality cider that an ex pat would be proud of, Peter enlisted the expertise of the CAMRA national gold award winning master cider makers Brian and his son Steve Brunt to perfect each of the three flavours that make BRUNTYS so irresistible - a dry apple, a medium sweet pear and a sweet strawberry . With over 50 years combined experience making cider, Brian and his son have received many prestigious awards and together we consider to believe are the leading innovators of cider making in the UK.

To compliment traditional cider favourites, apple and pear, Brian has introduced strawberry specifically blended for the Asian palate, with its slightly sweeter finish. In February 2013, Brian and Steve moved to Cambodia to ensure that BRUNTYS premium cider guarantees continuous supplies throughout Asia, to the delight of everyone's taste buds - from expatriates to Asians.
