Greek Forum of Migrants - Ελληνικό Φόρουμ Μεταναστών 3.83

Specifically,the aims of GFM are:
- The self-organizing and activation of migrant communities,for their equal inclusion and participation in the Greek society - Developing of cooperation and solidarity among immigrant communities operating in Greece
- Contributing to addressing the problems of immigrants in individual and collective level - Defending migrants’ rights and promoting their proposals and claims in dialogue with representatives of the State and its institutions, political and social organizations - Contributing to the improvement of policies relating to migrants and the promotion of their participation in dialogue processes and decision making on issues relating to them
- To work with non-governmental organizations, trade and social institutions and social organizations - Developing actions to combat racism, xenophobia and promoting the values of multiculturalism, and the democratic coexistence of social justice and equal citizenship
- Training and the development of proposals and participation in research, information, training and sensitization initiatives of the host society, either as a collective body of immigrant communities or jointly with partner social partners both in Greece and European or international level.
