Maria Callas Greek Society - Ελληνικός Σύλλογος Μαρία Κάλλας 3.8

O «Ελληνικός Σύλλογος Μαρία Κάλλας» -“Maria Callas Greek Society” ιδρύθηκε το 2012 από μια ομάδα μελετητών της ζωής και του έργου της μεγαλύτερης ντίβας του λυρικού θεάτρου του 20ου αιώνα, συλλεκτών, ή και απλών θαυμαστών της, στα πρότυπα των αντίστοιχων φορέων που υφίστανται στο εξωτερικό, εδώ και πολλά χρόνια.

Σκοπός του Σωματείου είναι:
-Η διατήρηση ζωντανής της μνήμης της κορυφαίας Ελληνίδας σοπράνο, που θεωρείται αναμφισβήτητα η πλέον αναγνωρίσιμη παγκοσμίως καλλιτέχνης της όπερας.
-Η προβολή της μοναδικής προσωπικότητάς της και της τεράστιας καλλιτεχνικής της συνεισφοράς της στην ανάδειξη του λυρικού θεάτρου.
-Η προσπάθεια της λειτουργίας και ο εμπλουτισμός του Μουσείου «Μαρία Κάλλας» στην Αθήνα.
-Η προβολή των ερμηνειών της και της καλλιτεχνικής της συνεισφοράς στο λυρικό θέατρο, για τη συστηματική γνωριμία του κοινού με την Όπερα
-Η συγκέντρωση, συλλογή, καταγραφή και μελέτη στοιχείων που αφορούν στη ζωή και την καλλιτεχνική της πορεία, ως ελληνική πολιτισμική κληρονομιά.
-Η δημιουργία συνθηκών συνεργασίας καλλιτεχνών για την παρουσίαση μουσικών εκδηλώσεων αφιερωμένων στη μνήμη της.
-Η ενίσχυση του έργου της Εθνικής Λυρικής Σκηνής και συναφών φορέων που προβάλλουν την Όπερα.
-Η συνεργασία με αντίστοιχους φορείς της Ελλάδας και του εξωτερικού.



Maria Callas Geek Society was greated to:

• To promote the Greek origins of Maria Callas
• To promote and preserve the memory of the most famous soprano of lyric theater
• To preserve and promote the unique personality and legendary contribution to promote the operatic art
• To help relocate and complete the first Museum of Maria Callas at 44 Metropoleos Ave in the Centre of Athens, Greece
• To enrich the new museum with new objects that belonged to the Diva (Opera dresses, memorabilia etc.)
• To bring to the public, through the Museum all her performances, video and recordings
• To collect and study all the books, articles written about her life and ascendance to a legend and how this contributes to the Greek and American cultural heritage.
• To create events in her memory using new talented Opera Singers
• To help promote the Operatic Art
• To exchange talented Opera singers of different nationalities for performances at the Greek National Opera House and other opera houses abroad
• The society in general will create the conditions (or circumstances) to invite famous opera critics for lectures, organize conventions and small opera festivals, educational seminars about Operatic Art for students national and international levels and cooperate with other similar organizations and societies to promote the legend of Maria Callas and Operatic Art.
