Champagne Monthuys Père et Fils 2.6

Since the 17th. Century, the BARON family cultivate vineyards as grape grower, in Champagne vineyard district. The entire harvest was then sold to the negociants from Epernay and Reims.

In 1966 Mr. Gabriel BARON decided to vinify by himself and produce its own bottles of champagne.

The first bottles were produced and marketed directly to private customers and to local restaurants. The company kept on developing year after year.

Today, the Baron family owns 38 hectares of vineyards and is settled in the village of Charly-Sur- Marne, on the Westside of the Marne valley. The best grapes and champagne are dedicated to make Champagne MONTHUYS, which starts being more and more famous on export markets.
