I am proud to present the International Student Association (ISA), a society in which the international essence of the university will flourish. It will be the student arm of the newly initialised internationalisation strategy, which will work in collaboration with the International Student Office. The idea of the society is to bring together students from all over the world to share with each other all their cultures, experiences and wisdom.

The societies first and foremost ambition is to help all our international students to both integrate and discover their new home, in both Cairo & wider Egypt. We will be doing this with the support of both experienced international students and home students. The idea of bringing students together; both home and international leads us to our secondary targets. Our secondary targets are to support personal development of all students through increased cultural awareness & appreciation of the world around us. Home students will benefit by having the opportunity to learn about the world and how others live without ever leaving the campus; plus you might just make life-time friends from all over the atlas!

The society is made up of two branches; the representative committee which will represent the international students across the university and the operations committee which will organise activities. The operations committee will depend on home students to assist and be a part of the society, not only for their expertise but also to be ambassadors of Egypt and Egyptian culture.
