Situated close to the Nile on the West Bank the house is surrounded by date palms and fields farmed by local farmers with views to the Valleys of the Kings in the west .
It is close to 2 local restaurants, one with a swimming pool on the banks of the Nile, where you can catch a motor boat to cross to the East Bank.
The house can be approached by these motor boats or by a narrow dirt road if driving from the East Bank or coming by ferryboat from the East Bank.
Local residents pass by the house on donkeys, motorbikes or bicycles carrying their crops and other wares.


The house has a well equipped kitchen and dining area, entrance and large central area with seating under the domed roof, sitting room, 2 bedrooms [main has 4-poster double bed with net and aircon; second has 2 single beds, and a ceiling fan and an air-con] and bathroom with bath and shower.

There is a garden at the back of the house with mastabas for sitting, a fountain and a pergola. The rooftop, approached by stairs from the garden has views in all directions and several seating areas and 2 pergolas…..fabulous for sunset drinks.
