Impact Roasters starts with the brand’s authenticity of the founders’ Ethiopian roots and passion for local coffee. Impact Roasters connects two worlds: Daniel, a native Ethiopian who grew up roasting coffee in his mom’s kitchen at the age of five and thereby developing a strong sense of flavors and notes that are characteristic for the motherland of coffee; and Nidzara of Bosnian-Danish descent who is the strong business force behind implementing exciting ideas and developing a business that is built upon passion for coffee and Ethiopia.

Together, they strive to share their love for coffee and tell the western world about the rich coffee culture and heritage of Ethiopia. From the very beginning Daniel and Nidzara implemented the “Impact Trade” (direct trade) model thus creating a long-lasting bond with coffee farmers and especially their communities, bringing significant changes through social projects.
