Well - here I go. With a giant leap of faith I am bringing you my three greatest passions - baking, art and people.

One summer when I was a little girl at church camp, a special lady introduced me to the fine art of baking cookies. I was her helper one afternoon and together we made the most wonderful cookies - step by step. A cookie wasn't just a cookie for her. It was a living breathing thing, that if carefully tendered, would make magic in your mouth when you ate it! I experienced the magic. Ever since then I have been facinated by cookies and the art of baking them. I love them, and have preferred them to anything else ever since.

As I grew up, my love for baking grew and with it a love for cooking and developing recipes.

I have always been an artist in some form or another - and still am. Either in writing poems or songs, drawing and painting or cooking and baking. I love color, I love form, I love beauty- literally, abstractly or symbolically.

One of the titles I am always honored to bestow, other than that of daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend, is "hostess." I love making people feel welcome, happy and content.

In bringing my cookies, pies and candy to you, I am uniting these three great passions. I hope that they too,molded into a cookie, a piece of candy or a pie will become yours!
