In cooperation with xm:lab - experimental media lab, dpz organizes experimental research projects at the intersections of information technology, computer science, art, and design.
Through a broad array of digital development and fabrication processes, dpz implements concepts, models, prototypes and small production series with a particular focus on "rapid prototyping", "rapid manufacturing" and "physical computing".
A team of artists and designers offers practice-based tutorials to support students from all degree programs in the development of approaches to use analog and digital fabrication tools in self-directed projects.
