Regina Food For Learning 2.18

Regina Food For Learning currently provides lunches in 4 locations, snacks in 3 locations and breakfast in 1 location. We serve approximately 10,350 snacks or lunches to 1350 children per month. We are reactive to the requests from schools. The need and resources available within the school are assessed and a decision is made regarding the most effective type and frequency of program required. The cost per snack is .89 and lunch is 2.67, with an annual food budget of approximately $48,000. We currently have three part time staff, but rely heavily on volunteers to assist with the delivery of our programs. Our largest funding partner is REACH with the remainder revenue being generated by in-kind donations and grants.
