Founded in 2015 by editor-in-chief Linda Solomon Wood, National Observer's team includes these media stars: environmental reporter Mike De Souza (Ottawa), investigative reporter Bruce Livesey (Toronto), national columnist Sandy Garossino, special assignments reporter, Jenny Uechi, (Vancouver) National reporters, Elizabeth McSheffrey, Carl Meyer, (Ottawa) Clotilde Gourd (Montreal).

Our business and development team includes Jorge Amigo, Bruno De Bondt, Catherine Rideout and Janel Johnson.

We publish long form investigative reporting as well as daily news coverage of energy, climate and politics, human rights, immigration and other social issues.

With offices in Vancouver and Ottawa, we work with reporters across Canada and, sometimes, in the United States.
