*Each student progresses at his or her own pace through an individualized worksheet lesson plan established by his or her Instructor.

*Students do daily assignments that take about 30 minutes or less per subject, in one, two or three sessions a week at the Kumon Centre, and the other days at home.

*The worksheets provide examples of how to solve each problem, enabling students to figure out new concepts on their own.

*Each worksheet teaches a lesson that\s one small step more advanced than the lesson before, so students progress smoothly and gain confidence with each new success.
