Lessons!
CTKR Music Instruction is a full service music company offering lessons for acoustic, electric and bass guitar as well as 7 + 8 string electric lessons. CTKR Music also offers lessons in music production, live sound and professional musician coaching. We are also home to London, Ontario's first music incubator! Owner/Operator Chris Rowan has 15 years of performance experience in a wide variety of groups ranging from his main metal band STRATOS and acoustic performances as well as punk and ska bands, rock cover groups, big band, jazz combos and many others. He has been playing guitar for 17 years and bass guitar for 15. Teaching for 11 years now, Chris has taught over 250 students ages 6-66 and all skill levels.

He has studied at The Ontario Institute of Audio Recording Technology (OIART) and has worked as a roadie, live sound technician, luthier, event booker/promoter, guitar technician and audio recording engineer. This range of knowledge allows for him to cover many areas of instruction and many genres of interest as well as the ability to better translate the techniques and theories behind what you want to learn.

Repairs and Recording/Rehearsal space!
Being a full service company we cover any maintenance or repairs from instrument set ups and string changes to tuning peg, knob, input jack replacements to re-wiring and soldering. Students will also have access to studio quality recordings of lessons and the ability to play along with and be recorded into your favourite songs!

There is a dedicated recording/rehearsal floor available with gear for $20 / hour
Recording rates are $30 / hour - Includes editing and mixing !
