We get it. Some of us have been there and want to help. APS is a confidential and free resource available to any student experiencing an unplanned or difficult pregnancy situation. This safe environment offers nonjudgmental peer support, accurate information and a wealth of resources. We are here to help support those who wish to consider continuing their education and pregnancy.

We are not a rights or advocacy group, nor are we interested in creating controversy; our mission is to show love and acceptance to our fellow students who are experiencing an unplanned pregnancy, and to connect them with positive, practical support.

This is a student-led group working in a partnership with The Valley Care Pregnancy Centre (VCPC), a Christian non-profit organization in Kentville. Our group is non-discriminatory and membership is open to all students at Acadia.

Samantha Hicks, a VCPC staff member and recent Acadia Alumna, will act as a liaison, coach, and active consultant to the group.
