SHAPE-Mons Hash House Harriers 2.26

Welcome Hashers!

We are the SHAPE Mons Hash House Harriers, a drinking club with a running problem. We run in and around of SHAPE and Mons, and in the neighboring villages in Hainaut province of Belgium. The SHAPE Hash was formed in May 1982 and ran bi-weekly. In December 2003 the club reached 600 runs, but after that there was just one more hash in January 2004 before the club folded. But in October 2012 we reawakened the hash with a resurrection run followed by a run every second week.

During the summer of 2015 we have adapted our format to be once every month during the week of the full moon. The day of the week is at the discretion of the hosting hare. We meet at 19:00 rain or shine and the hare is away no later than 19:15. We meet for a bit of running, socialization, beer and often share a meal at the host's home or in a restaurant afterwards.
