Chairman Profile

Prof. Khalilur Rahman Khan (K R K Sir) was a noted mathematician and a reputed teacher in the Dept. of Mathematics of Dhaka University from 1964 to 1969. He then switched to Business Administration with an M.B.A degree from Indiana University (Bloomington), USA in 1971. At this time he received advanced training in computer technology and application particularly computer programming, and Systems Analysis and Design.

Prof. K R K Sir pioneered computer education and training in this country since 1973. As a faculty member of IBA, Prof. Khan designed and gave courses in Computer Programming in different computer languages and also in Systems Analysis & Design. He trained a few thousand students and professionals in computer technology over a period of 28 years - 1973 - 2001. He was also chairman, MBA Programme at IBA.

Prof. K R K Sir is a Fellow of Bangladesh Computer Society, and lifetime member of Bangladesh Mathematics Association and of Bangladesh Economics Association. He was also a professor of a Private University. Prof. Khan worked as a consultant for a good number of national and foreign organizations.


Managing Director’s Profile

Saifur Rahman Khan (SRK Sir) is a former lecture of Institute of Business Administration (IBA) and Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM). With origin of Saver, Manikgonj. He grew up in the Fuller Road Colony adjacent to British Council and spent a remarkable period of his life. Graduated from Udyaon School, Residential Model College, BUET (EEE) respectively, and awarded Monbusho scholarship of Japan, he completed his MBA in International University of Japan.

In his student life he made his mark as sportsman in school athletics and chess. He became runner-up in the national contest of chess (sub-junior group). In the 80s, he was a several-time winner of ‘Jodi Kichu Mone Na Koren, general knowledge contest of BTV presented by late Fazle Lohani.

‘Learning and Teaching’ in his passion and profession. He is well versed in TOEFL, SAT, GRE, IELTS and GMAT preparation.
