we are also working for the child’s education. It could also be work that is harmful to the child’s health or physical, mental, spiritual, moral or social development. Some of the children who are engaged in hazardous work experience its worst forms – including slavery, forced and bonded work, child trafficking, illicit activities, and involvement in armed conflict, prostitution or pornography. We are working with them to provide a friendly and proper environment for them.
About Us
Greenery Bangladesh is a non-profit organization with a mission – to create a global community, one relationship at a time. We connect volunteers who want to make a difference with communities, where they learn, teach, work, engage and immerse themselves in a culture outside their comfort zone. For many, it’s the most fulfilling experience of their lives.
In today's world, everyone is aware of the need to be eco conscious and make sustainable choices in our lives. We all know only too well the harm that is being done to our environment. Forrest are disappearing at an alarming rate, more and more flora and fauna are becoming extinct and animals and people alike are losing their homes and their way of life.
Volunteering in environmental conservation overseas means that you can help to protect the environment and make a difference in some of the regions of the world that need it the most. If you are a greenie at heart and want nothing more than to trek through rainforests and see some of the most remote corners of the globe then environmental volunteering is for you.

The main aim of GB at the grass root level is to succeed in making individuals and communities understand the complex nature of the natural and the built environments.

ensure environmental sustainability :

It is critical that the natural resources base and ecosystems are managed sustainably to ensure that people’s food requirements and other social, economic, and environmental needs are sufficiently met. Climate change, conflicts over access to resources, and increased water scarcity all pose a threat to not only environmental sustainability but also food security.people depend on forests directly for their livelihoods, plus they provide other benefits enjoyed by all, including clean air and water. Forests also provide a habitat for millions of plants and animals, as well as catchment for 75 percent of the world’s fresh water. They help in the adaptation to and mitigation of climate change, though they are under threat from deforestation.
Hunger and poverty tend to compel the disadvantaged to over-exploit resources on which their livelihoods depend. Policies, institutions, and strategies for protecting, conserving, and enhancing natural resources should be strengthened to deliver an enabling environment, and be based on the specific resource challenged faced in a given location.

Protecting children's rights:
Children have the right to protection from abuse, neglect, exploitation and discrimination. This includes the right to safe places for children to play; constructive child rearing behavior, and acknowledgment of the
evolving capacities of children.

End poverty and hunger:
Bangladesh is one of the world’s most densely populated countries; the size of Illinois, Bangladesh has a population of 161 million people, half the population of the United States. Despite recent progress out of poverty and increasing human development indicators such as literacy and life expectancy, inequalities in income and consumption rates have increased (UNDP 2005). 43% of the population lives below the national poverty line, most of whom are women and children. The prevalence of child (under 5) malnutrition is 41%, one of the highest in the world.
The Hunger Project by volunteers has discovered that volunteers are often most motivated and inspired by working alongside
others who share similar interests and characteristics.

Community development involves changing the relationships between ordinary people and people in positions of power, so that everyone can take part in the issues that affect their lives. It starts from the principle that within any community there is a wealth of knowledge and experience which, if used in creative ways, can be channeled into collective action to achieve the communities' desired goals.
Community development practitioners work alongside people in communities to help build relationships with key people and organizations and to identify common concerns. They create opportunities for the community to learn new skills and by enabling people to act together, community development practitioners help to foster social inclusion and equality.

GB is attempting for involving all the members of community in that aim of human development and by doing these action explore significant improvement in the lives of the stakeholders.
