TSS Rowing 2.88

With our first crews competing from 1907, TSS Rowing is the most successful sport in the School with 20 O’Connor Cup wins (First VIII GPS Premierships) since the first Head of the River was raced on the Brisbane River. Originally the Championship regatta races were competed for in IV’s until in 1955 when the First VIII’s were introduced as the GPS Rowing Premier event.
Rowing has a strong tradition and proud history at TSS boasting a strong depth of coaches including Olympic, World Championship, National and State level representative oarsmen, coaches and mentor staff linked to the program and top class facilities servicing and supporting over 220 young men within the School’s program.
