Townsville Chess Club 1.96

We are one of Queensland’s longest running chess clubs. Everyone is welcome here: from social players to serious competitors, and beginners of all ages. Members are happy to teach new members as much as they want to learn. Come to our friendly weekly meetings and see what makes chess such a wonderful game!

Townsville Chess Club meets every Tuesday night at the Pimlico State High School library (see the events calendar for the schedule). This year’s regular nights are from the 26th of January to the 6th of December except during school holidays (as the school will be closed).

Club meetings run from 7:00pm to 10:30pm.

The school library is the closest building to the lights on the corner of Hugh St and Fulham Rd (with entrance on Fulham Road).

CASUAL ATTENDANCE FEES PER NIGHT

Casual attendance is for people who do not wish to participate in tournament play. Every night is available to the public to attend as a casual player.

Yearly membership covers all membership and attendance fees and all regular competition entry throughout the year.

TOWNSVILLE CHESS CLUB MEMBERSHIP

This is a once per year fee if you want to play in some competitions during the year but not all of them.
