The Ancient Egyptian and Viking cultures furnish the concept of having meals served at the table on super-heated natural volcanic stones. These specially selected stones, chosen for their high heat retention, are preheated to 400°C (752°F) in our purpose-built Stonegrill® oven, enabling food to then be cooked by each diner to their individual preference in a fun and engaging environment. The high temperature obtained with the Stonegrill® method sears the product faster and locks in the natural juices and nutrients, enhancing the full flavour and tenderness of all foods
