Summerland Sports & Classic Car Club Inc. 2.22

A small group of car enthusiasts met on 26 April 1978 and conducted the inagural meeting of the then named Summerland Sports Car Club.

In 1983, Classic was added to the name - The Club had grown and the original name was too restrictive, as newer members joining owned classic vehicles. The Club then became known as the Summerland Sports and Classic Car Club.

In 1987 the Club became incorporated.

Today the Club remains vibrant and active with a great social side for sports and classic car enthusiasts. Members have a large range of sports and classic vehicles in their collections - some to a very high concours standard.

The Clubs major event is on the first Sunday in August with the areas largest static display of cars and motorcycles.
