Stacey's Dance Unlimited 2.4

My passion and love of dance started with my first ballet lesson at 4 years old. It wasn't long before I got my first pair of tap shoes...and did I love them! Little did I know that tap go on to win me many competitions and championships.
My foundations in Ballet, Tap, Jazz and National Character were developed under the Ballet Australasia Limited (BAL) Syllabus. I worked right through to complete Elementary Ballet, Advanced Tap and Major Solo, and Elementary National Character in 1999.
I competed in various Eisteddfods in NSW and QLD from the age of 6 through to 18 in the following styles: Ballet, Expressive, Song & Dance, Tap, Waltz Tap, Slow Tap, Speed Tap, Tap Ensemble, Song & Tap, National Character and Jazz.
I began teaching Jazz classes at the age of 16 and ballet and tap shortly after. I thoroughly enjoy being able to pass on what I have learnt over the years to the next generation of little dancers! I find it extremely rewarding.
In 2010 I also became a Zumba Instructor which is a great chance for adults to get up and move to some catchy latin-inspired tunes, and fits in perfectly with dance teaching.
I am a member of Australian Teachers of Dancing (ATOD) and currently teach the ATOD Classical Ballet and Classical Ballet Pre-Levels syllabus. I am also a member of Ausdance NSW and my Working with Children Check number is WWC0953346E.
