Southern Cross Yachting is an accredited RYA/YA sailing and powerboating school offering tuition in sail and power for beginners to yachtmaster level as well as yacht charter and corporate sailing events on magnificent Moreton Bay in Brisbane on the Queensland coast of Australia.
As well as sail and power training on the water we offer an extensive range of theory courses in the classroom covering Navigation, Radio, Boat Safe, Sea Survival, First Aid, STCW95, Radar & Diesel Engine Courses,.
Our fast track courses which offer an intensive practical and theory sailing programme attract local and international students wishing to gain qualifications for a new career in the world wide yachting industry or simply the sailing knowledge to go cruising with confidence.
On water practical courses include one day, weekend and five day sailing courses on Moreton Bay, pre-charter & powerboat training as well as offshore sailing and racing along the Queensland coast to Keppel Bay and the Whitsundays. Gift vouchers are available for all practical and theory courses.
For those wishing to charter in Europe we offer ICC and CEVNII training.
