Queanbeyan Business Chamber 2.13

The Queanbeyan Business Council was inaugurated on 18th January 2005 as an Incorporated Association under NSW legislation. In early 2014 the name of the organisation was changed to the “Queanbeyan Business Chamber” in order to reflect a fresh new hands-on approach to our services as well as a renewed commitment to the Queanbeyan community.

QBC is the leading voice of business on important issues locally and regionally. The organisation works to enhance Queanbeyan's economic development and prosperity to preserve a high quality of life. In providing a proactive forum for businesses, government and the community to join together, QBC helps assure the prosperity of our city. Queanbeyan is a desirable place live, work, raise families and enjoy an excellent quality of life. The Chamber serves pro-business interests so that the city's vibrant economy will continue to expand, bringing the benefits of prosperity to every corner of the city.

Hon. Dr. Mike Kelly AM MP, Parliamentary Secretary for Defence Support and Civil-Military Cooperation, and Federal Member for Eden Monaro and Mr. Steve Whan MP, NSW Member for Monaro have kindly agreed to to be joint patrons of the Queanbeyan Business Chamber.
