Pedder Patter Child Care 1.39

Pedder Patter Child Care Centre, located close to the central business district of Launceston, was established in 1988 as a Not for Profit organisation to help meet the needs of the local community. It is managed by a Centre Manager and a voluntary committee who are elected each year at the Annual General Meeting.

The Centre is licensed to cater for up to 50 children at a time aged from birth to seven years. There are 4 learning and care areas, each catering for the individual needs of a different age group. Each area has a separate age appropriate outdoor environment.

Our Centre Manager and staff are all highly qualified professionals, each chosen for their skills, experience and genuine commitment to child care.

OUR VISION

PPCCC aims to ensure all children have access to high quality care and programs at all times. We aim to promote a stimulating, healthy and safe environment which encourages children as individuals to explore, use their imagination and to interact as valued members of a group.

We value the ideas and contributions of all children and their families, members of the community and staff and will endeavour to utilise and implement these into our programs.

We provide quality Before School, After School and Vacation Care programs based at West Launceston Primary School and After School care only at Youngtown Primary School..

We also offer a Early learning program run in the Early Learning facility at West Launceston Primary School. Our program caters for children aged 4-5 and is run by a qualified Early Childhood teacher.
