Onyx Racing Products is a Division of Christianson Systems, Inc. In 2010 we expanded our machining and manufacturing capabilities in such a way that allowed us some extra freedom to explore some additional niche markets. We so happened to have a deep passion for the bike industry and decided to give it a shot. Over the last several years we have worked diligently to produce a top quality bike hub that is currently patent pending. We started in the BMX Race market and have been branching out to all other aspects of the biking world. We recently started manufacturing BMX Race Barrel Gates with a much needed safety upgrade! We look forward to the continued enhancement of our bicycle product line.

Christianson is a leading manufacturer of shipunloaders and pneumatic conveying systems for a wide range of bulk materials including feed and cereal grains, plastics and chemicals. The company’s equipment operates in agriculture, commercial bulk handling, and marine port industries world-wide.

Christianson’s product line spans from small bulk seed conveyors to large shipunloaders for discharging ocean-going vessels at rates of 300 metric tons per hour.

Our roots are in agriculture and farming. In the early 1970’s we diversified into equipment distribution through our association with Dunbar Kapple/Vac-U-Vator (formerly of Batavia, Illinois). In 1979 we started manufacturing a line of pneumatic conveyors under the Handlair brand, marketing them throughout the USA and Canada. In 1989, we purchased Dunbar Kapple/Vac-U-Vator and consolidated manufacturing and international marketing operations in Blomkest, Minnesota.

Our products are marketed directly from Blomkest and through a network of independent agents and resellers. Recent international projects include installations in Australia, Vietnam, Venezuela and the Philippines.

Corporate offices and manufacturing facilities cover about 100,000 square feet. Large ship unloaders are assembled and tested year-round inside one of the tallest (80 feet) manufacturing buildings in Minnesota.
