Mt Brisbane Droughtmasters 2.81

The Mt Brisbane Droughtmaster Stud is located in the Brisbane Valley, near Esk, on the 4,500ha property of the same name.
The McConnel family has been on the property since 1893, with John and Carli McConnel and their son Don now running a stud and commercial herd of over 500 purebred Droughtmaster females. Their four other children, sons Rob, Ian & Bruce and daughter Susie Sullivan, remain actively involved in the operation despite living and working off farm.
The aim has always been for easy care females, with their progeny showing good weight gains, good carcase qualities and good temperament.
Through careful selection the herd is now averaging over 93% pregnancy rates after a 3 month joining period.
The cattle have been successfully shown over the years in prime cattle, carcase, led steer and stud cattle competitions.
A selection of bulls and females are offered for sale privately each year, these cattle come with a full fertility guarantee.
