MIDAT 1.39

Mental Illness, Drug, Alcohol Training (MIDAT) was established in 2014 by two nurses, Jan Hutchison and Dee Travers, who recognised a need to provide training and education to those working with and caring for people with mental illness and alcohol and other drug issues.
Jan and Dee have the combined experience of 35 years of working and teaching in the area of mental health and alcohol and drugs. They have worked together in various mental health and alcohol and drug clinical settings for the past seven years and since 2011 have co-delivered with other health professionals a two day training package on mental health, alcohol and other drugs across South Australia and the Northern Territory.
Jan and Dee provide informative and interactive training sessions on a range of mental health and alcohol and drug issues that enables attendees to gain immediate skills and confidence to care for people with mental illness and alcohol and drug issues.
