Mad About Colours by Ana 2.58

My passion for colour started 20 years ago. When I first bought my first house our living room had a beautiful dark wood floor and all around an old fashion but still beautiful cabinet that covered 3 of the walls, from floor to ceiling. Although I loved the cabinet the room was too dark. One day while shopping with my cousin I found a beautiful bright coloured Mexican Rug. It had the beautiful hues that are characteristic of the beautiful Mexican craft. I fell inb love by the rug and had to have it.
And that’s how it started. I used the rug as the main statement and started buying decorations that matched the rug. And after that day I realised that I love colour. I use it in my house, clothes and fashion accessories. I love unique items and funky bold patterns. I love mixing styles while decorating and I like the idea to decorate with items that have personal meaning.
The house I share now with my husbands and two children is accessorised with items that we purchased in our travels and holidays. Every time I look at something that is hanging on the walls or on display I remember where I bought it and brings back beautiful memories.
I like to hang on the walls items that might sometimes be unusual to do so. A book that is special, a tea cup and saucer that were a present from a special friend, but it’s too pretty or delicate to use, match boxes with beautiful drawings, tea towels in frames that are stunning and a waste to use it in your dishes…
My dream is to become an interior decorator and with that dream and goal in mind I knew I had to do something with my passion, so I decided to create my own company: Mad about Colours by Ana. I’m just in the beginning but intend to try and sell beautiful and obviously colourful home wares, Clothing and accessories that reflect my passion and hopefully your tastes as well.
