It was in my late teens that fitness became a major part of my life. After finishing school, I attended Charles Sturt University to complete a Bachelor degree of Exercise Science (Rehabilitation). As a keen Rugby Union player, I wanted to increase my knowledge of the human body’s working mechanisms, improving strength and neuromuscular response in relation to the sport. During my time at University i was able to apply my knowledge to my own training, which I attribute to sporting achievements of International representative honours and further opportunities.

I completed my Level 1 and 2 (out of 3) Strength and Conditioning coaching course, specializing in Olympic lifting. Upon graduating, I received my Level 3 and 4 in Fitness. Obtaining this qualification gave me a whole new perspective on training and opened the door to some incredible opportunities. One of those opportunities was playing Rugby Union in Oxford, England. It was in Oxford that I became a Strength and Conditioning Advisor and Fitness Coordinator for two seasons with the club. Training in a different part of the world enlightened me to new training methods and training cycles. In addition, I privately trained clients and continued to increase my qualifications by completing my Level 1 Kettle Bell course, an accreditation recognised worldwide.

I have lead an extensive sporting career, which has only be made possible through my desire to learn about Exercise Science. While studying, I captained my local university side, captained the regional Central West Blue Bulls of NSW and played for NSW Country Cookatoos. At university I represented Charles Sturt at the Australian University games, I was selected in NSW University side (competing for Australian selection) but was unable to partake due to work commitments.

Internationally I played for Oxford Harlequins Rugby Union Club, played for the regional county side of Oxfordshire XV and was invited to play for the prestigious Penguins International Invitational XV competing in the London 10's competition. Upon returning home, I have played for the Sunshine Coast Stingrays in the Brisbane premier competition of which I gained selection in the Queensland Blue Heelers Country XV from 2013-2016.

I recently returned to University and completed my second degree, a Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Science. On completion of this degree, I started Sunshine Coast Rehabilitation and Exercise Physiology (SCREP). Based out of Miguels 24 Hr fitness in North Buderim, SCREP has allowed me to provide a service to a wide range of clientele such as DVA, WorkCover and those with chronic illness/injury.

The key focus of SCREP is to provide the most exclusive training and rehabilitation plans, designed from the current research within musculoskeletal; neurological; metabolic and cardiac rehabilitation.
