Pets are for life and life is an adventure, you can have both. I am someone who understands the total love of pets with a passion and joy for travel, which is not often a combination that works. Luckily for me when it was my turn I had family to turn to. They would visit and look after my pets like the family they are. I can provide that for you too.
All my life I have surrounded myself with animals, dogs, cats, horses, chickens, ducks you name it. I have always loved all creatures great and small. Until the end of 2012 I was human Mum to two Jack Russell’s who passed away within 4 months of each other both at the ripe old age of 16. If you have ever owned elderly animals you will understand the unconditional care that goes into making the last years as easy and loving for them as possible. And if you have ever owned Jack Russell’s you will understand the “puppy” years last a very long time lol
The last four years have seen me travelling overseas and exploring Australia. I miss pet companionship and the unconditional love they give. As I will be travelling more in the future and not knowing where I will end up, having any pets again right now is out of the question. Pets are for life and part of our families. Having experienced this myself I know how much relief I would feel when I could head off on a holiday knowing my fur babies were at home in safe loving hands.
I have house sat in various homes in and around Brisbane. My charges so far have been, dogs, cats, lizards, chickens & horses. I have also been both the home owner and renter and treat others homes and animals with love and respect. I currently have a permanent address in Samford. Short or long term stays not a problem. Am also available to house sit for non-pet homes too :)
