The bark blower is a pump especially designed for spreading mulches and can be used for other specialised applications like pumping composts and mixes of soil. It is ideal for those hard to access areas, in and around your already planted gargen beds, for slopes and embankments as well as planter boxes on 2nd story buildings.

The material is loaded into the back of the truck with the blower mounted at the rear. The hoses can reach a distance of up to 80 metres where the operators then apply the material to gardens to the acquired thickness. Material can be bulked in or applied at a shower rate around more delicate plants.

Bark Blowers will also, clean-up gardens of any material and blowing around plants to make sure site is left clean and tidy.

Mulches we specialise in are:

Forrest Mulch: Forrest mulch is the most popular out of all the mulches. It will help give soil nutrients meaning improvement in plant growth and soil. It lasts normally 6 months to a year. (weather dependant)

Wood Chip: Wood Chip is mulch that is all timber. It will last a little longer then forrest mulch although it won't improve the soild as well. It is good for retaining moisture and minimising weeds.

Cypress: Cypress mulch is actual cyprus timber which has been shredded. Cyprus is just under hardwood chip for soil quality. Generally lasts up to 1 to 2 years depending on the climate.

Hardwood (Linkin Lock mulch): Shredded hardwood has similar properties to woodchip but has a finer texture. Lasting on your soil for approximately 1-2 years. (depending on climate)

Pine Bark: Pine Bark is generally the longest lasting mulch which normally lasts for 2+ years, as it is slower to break down. It doesn't generally improve the condition of the soil as it is generally used more for presenation. This is also good for moisture retention and minimising weeds.

Tea Tree: Tea Tree mulch is generally based on looks and presentation, moisture retention and good coverage for weeds. Doesn't break down as well as other mulches and doesn't produce as much nutrients for the soil.
