ÖH Referat für Internationales & ESN-Team 3.05

The “Referat für Internationales & ESN-Team” is part of the Austrian student union (ÖH) at the University of Innsbruck. We work closely with ESN Innsbruck but are a separate institution responsible for representing and supporting (exchange) students at the LFU (=Leopold Franzens Universität Innsbruck).


We hold office hours once a week and are happy to help you with any questions that may arise during your stay in Innsbruck as an exchange student, be it advice on leisure time activities in and around Innsbruck, tips on how best to navigate the Innsbruck university system, help on deciphering a contract in German or simply a chat on how you are doing. Don’t hesitate to come by, we look forward to getting to know you and hope that we can help make your stay in Innsbruck a pleasurable one!


In addition, we organise several events each semester geared towards exchange students. Our trips and events are subsidised by the ÖH and therefore give you great deals that will be easy on your student and travelling budget. We try to take you to culturally and/or historically relevant places and hope that we succeed in giving you an insight into the region you will be living in over the next few months. There is usually a mix of exchange students and local students participating in our events, which makes for a great opportunity to get to know locals.
