They currently play in Zone B of the regionalised 3rd level of Argentine football Torneo Argentino A. The team is named after El Chaco Jimenez.Chaco For Ever was founded in 1913.The club has had 2 seasons at the top level (Primera División), in 1989/1990 and 1990/91. The 1989/90 season was the most successful in their history, they finished 17th, and won the relegation playoff against Racing de Córdoba 5–0 to retain their place in the Primera División. The next season, the Primera was divided into 2 tournaments Apertura and Clausura.
