At Base*Radius we strive to provide the resources every school going student desires in such a space:
1. High end workbenches with installed tablets, powerful CPU’s with an excellent collection of high end open-source software suites, multi-meters, soldering stations, power stations, oscilloscopes, laptop mounts, assorted tools (hardware tools, dremels, cutting boards, measuring equipment, fasteners (assorted nuts, screws, bolts, glues, tapes etc)) and of course high speed internet.
2. 3D printers, Laser cutters, mini milling and lathes (CNC and manual), PCB making equipment, routing tables and scroll saws.
3.Skilled instructors who are ever willing to help, talk, brainstorm and teach the young innovators anything they want to learn.
4. Raw materials - woods, acrylic, aluminium, rubbers, plastic, wheels, gears, electronic components, wires, assorted kits, prototyping boards and many others
5. Structured and planned classes that take the students from knowing nothing to being full blown engineers who understand the theoretical and can create fully functional projects, collaborate, iterate, brainstorm and present their ideas: All before they finish their last days of school!
