Yzerfontein is a small, tranqual sea-side village 80km from Cape Town. Travel on the R27 from Cape Town and turn off to Yzerfontein on the R315.

The attractions are eco-tourism based and include spring wild flowers, Southern Right and Humpback whales, countless bird, animal and plant species, fish[especially snoek], crayfish, perlemeon, and an extensive unspoilt coastline with both rocky and sandy beaches including the famous sixteen mile beach.
