Van Tuka Lounge was formed in 2013, opened on the 26th of December. The correct spelling of the Afrikaans words is Van Toeka, meaning “Way Back”. Our lounge was inspired by old skool music, we wanted to target older and mature generation.

We have sophisticated designs and high quality furniture and finishes of which its theme is ‘Modern meets Vintage’.

Van Tuka Lounge prides itself on our eclectic and appealing menus and has a huge emphasis on quality and fresh ingredients.

We focus in maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness. Safety is also of high importance in both front and back of house; hence we strive to provide the best bouncers in our area.

Customer service consistency is the most critical element in growing our lounge. Our strategy is simple, we intend to succeed by giving people a combination of excellent and interesting food… a vast variety of beverages and the greatest old skool music compilations in an environment that appeals to a wide and varied group of successful people.
