UCT Radio 104.5 is a community radio station, and thus relies on its student members, who are all voluntary staff, to keep the radio station running. UCT Radio 104.5 provides a platform for young individuals to be empowered through not only the skills that they learn in terms of working at a radio station, but also, many life skills are also learnt, and instilled, through the process.
