Trautman Artisan Woodcraft 1.97

Trautman Artisan Woodcraft is owned and operated by Braam Trautman.

Starting his training in 1994 under his father – who at 76 is still working with him, he worked on several projects including the fitting of the first PostNet in Pretoria.

He later continued his training under Steven van der Knaap in the design and manufacture of doors, windows and sliding folding doors.

In the last 20 years he has designed and manufactured everything from kitchens and custom cabinetry to office furniture, staircase balustrading and composite decking.

Having a love of antique furniture he also restores or upcycles old or deprecated pieces, using original methods to preserve the value of a piece or paint techniques to enhance the design.
