When we first learn to ride a bicycle as a kid, it’s our first real taste of freedom. That feeling of freedom never really fades; we just become less aware of it as we grow older. But when you feel the warm sun on your back as you breathe in lung fills of fresh country air when pedalling along steadily with your buddies, you rediscover a piece of your childhood and it feels so damn good. Flying down that mountain at neck breaking speed, that thrill and adrenaline rush is simply priceless. You just don’t want it to end, and when it does you are already planning how to get back there.

But in today’s rushed life the most precious commodity is time. When we have some of it free we want to spend it riding and definitely not hassling with repairing and maintaining our costly steeds. When we do get out on the trial we are simply “gatvol” of that perfect ride being “derailed” by less than perfect gear shifting or other mediocre maintenance and repairs. We have almost grown accustomed to poor service and that is simply unacceptable and needs to be rectified.

That is exactly where Torq Zone Cycles fits in. We are a professional bike service centre whose sole mission is to provide damn good repairs and maintenance. We do not retail bikes, gear or accessories and other unnecessary things you don’t really need. But you will be able to buy your required consumables like tubes, tyres, bombs and lubes, stuff you need regularly on the trail. Yes we do specialize in Mountain Bikes but our workshop is geared to work on any type of bike. So if you do own a road bike or anything else please bring it along as well.

Torq Zone is in Doringkloof Mall, only 2 minutes off the N1 highway in Centurion. Take Botha Avenue and turn towards Groenkloof (Northern direction) and then turn left at first robot. Doringkloof Mall will be right in front of you. We are at the back left corner of the mall with ample parking space right in front of the shop.

We want you to spend maximum time “Hammering” your Mountain Bike and be in the “Zone”. We at Torq Zone will take care of the rest, we “fix them” and we fix them well and we do it with the minimum of inconvenience to you. So go out hammer your bike as hard as you can, “Zone out” and then bring it to us for the best service you’ve ever had!!
