The 40th anniversary of The Garden Show is not only a milestone, but is ringing in brand new changes.
The Royal Agricultural Society is delighted to announce the start of a new era for The Garden Show. Tanya Visser, magazine editor and presenter of the TV programme The Gardener has come on board to give the show a new look and feel while keeping the tradition we all love in this garden show. This year the show celebrates 40 years of gardening excellence and will be rebranded The Garden Show to start off the new era going forward. The Show’s home, the Royal Showgrounds in Pietermaritzburg will be transformed into a ‘Symphony of Spring’, the theme for this year for the four day show starting from 24-27 September. Exciting events are being planned to go along with impressive feature gardens; small gardens designed by talented landscapers; displays of spring flowers, orchids, and bonsai; beautifully iced cakes and art; a new section just for the children; plenty of entertainment and gourmet food.
